Media Advertising

Media Advertising refers to the various media channels through which advertising is done. Media Advertising is used for showcasing promotional content which communicated in various forms such as text, speech, images, videos using TV, radio, online, outdoor etc. Basically they are channels through which companies can advertise their products and services to reach to customers.

Duties of Advertiser:

· Plan promotional campaigns such as contests, coupons, or giveaways
· Plan advertising campaigns, including which media to advertise in, such as radio, television, print, online media, and billboards
· Negotiate advertising contracts
· Evaluate the look and feel of websites used in campaigns or layouts, which are sketches or plans for an advertisement

Broadcasting

Broadcasting presenters provide a public voice or face to a range of shows broadcast on TV, radio and the internet. Broadcasting is the distribution of audio or video content to a dispersed audience via any electronic mass communications medium, but typically one using the electromagnetic spectrum (radio waves), in a one-to-many model.

Duties of Broadcaster:

· Operate, monitor, and adjust audio, video, lighting, and broadcast equipment to ensure consistent quality
· Set up and take down equipment for events and live performances
· Record speech, music, and other sounds on recording equipment or computers, sometimes using complex software
· Synchronize sounds and dialogue with action taking place on television or in movie productions
· Convert video and audio records to digital formats for editing on computers
· Install audio, video, and lighting equipment in hotels, offices, and schools
· Report any problems that arise with complex equipment and make routine repairs
· Keep records of recordings and equipment used

Event Management

Event management skills refer to the ability to apply project management skills in order to launch large scale social or business events such as formal parties, conferences, festivals, concerts, ceremonies, or conventions etc. to work within the given budget, following a certain schedule, and dealing with vendors in order to create and develop the best possible events requested by the clients.

Duties of Event Manager:

· The Event Manager is responsible for detailed planning and on-site execution of conferences.
· Includes logistical planning; understanding event budgets; communication with various vendors, key venue contact, and VIP presenters; contract negotiations; and management of on-site staff.

Film & TV Productions
