Interior Design / Interior Architecture

Interior Designer performs the art or process of designing the interior decoration of a room or building. It is one of the most popular Art profession in Malaysia – a developing country with blooming development projects in both commercial & residential properties.

Duties of Interior Designers:

· Search for and bid on new projects
· Determine the client’s goals and requirements for the project
· Consider how the space will be used and how people will move through the space
· Sketch preliminary design plans, including electrical and partition layouts
· Specify materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures
· Create a timeline for the interior design project and estimate project costs
· Place orders for materials and oversee the installation of the design elements
· Oversee construction and coordinate with general building contractors to implement the plans and specifications for the project
· Visit the site after the project is complete, to ensure that the client is satisfied

Animation

Animation is a combination of art and technology, creativity and skills that opens up the story worlds and gives form to the visions that drive the animated films that we love today.

Duties of Animators:

· Use computer programs and illustrations to create graphics and animation
· Work with a team of animators and artists to create a movie, game, or visual effect
· Research upcoming projects to help create realistic designs or animations
· Develop storyboards that map out key scenes in animations
· Edit animations and effects on the basis of feedback from directors, other animators, game designers, or clients
· Meet with clients, other animators, games designers, directors, and other staff (which may include actors) to review deadlines and development time lines

Beauty & Personal Grooming

Good personal grooming can make a person look polished and increases their self-confidence as well as their self-esteem. A person that is well groomed is often perceived by others than a person that does not take as much care of their appearance.

Duties of Beautician:

· Evaluate clients’ skin condition and appearance
· Discuss available treatments and determine which products will improve clients’ skin quality
· Remove unwanted hair, using wax, lasers, or other approved treatments
· Clean the skin before applying makeup
· Recommend skin care products, such as cleansers, lotions, or creams
· Teach and advise clients on how to apply makeup, and how to take care of their skin
· Refer clients to another skincare specialist, such as a dermatologist, for serious skin problems
· Disinfect equipment and clean work areas

Comic Illustrator

A combination of creativity, imagination, interpersonal skill and manual dexterity skills are the main essentials of being a comic illustrator that produces work in comic form and may produce the whole strip, or contribute to only a part of the comic. They convey humor or tell a story about everyday situations, recent trends, and made-up worlds.

Duties of Comic Illustrator:

· Illustrators visualize and produce artwork and line drawings based on concepts dictated by clients or employers.
· They typically determine the medium and technique needed to produce the desired artwork and then employ orthographic, isometric and schematic techniques, as well as perspective, to do so.
· They communicate with clients during all stages of the illustration process and make necessary changes.
· They may be required to work on several projects at once, as well as meet strict deadlines.

Fashion Design

Fashion design is the art of applying design, aesthetics and natural beauty to clothing and its accessories. It is influenced by cultural and social attitudes, and has varied over time and place. Fashion designers work in a number of ways in designing clothing and accessories such as bracelets and necklaces that is up to the recent fashion and trends.

Duties of Fashion Designers:

· Study fashion trends and anticipate designs that will appeal to consumers
· Decide on a theme for a collection
· Use computer-aided design (CAD) programs to create designs
· Visit manufacturers or trade shows to get samples of fabric
· Select fabrics, embellishments, colors, or a style for each garment or accessory
· Work with other designers or team members to create prototype designs
· Present design ideas to the creative director or showcase them in fashion or trade shows
· Market designs to clothing retailers or directly to consumers
· Oversee the final production of their designs

Graphic Design

Graphic Design is art with a purpose. It involves a creative and systematic plan to solve a problem or achieve certain objectives, with the use of images, symbols or even words. It is visual communication and the aesthetic expression of concepts and ideas using various graphic elements and tools.

Duties of Graphic Designers:

· Meet with clients or the art director to determine the scope of a project
· Use digital illustration, photo editing software, and layout software to create designs
· Create visual elements such as logos, original images, and illustrations that help deliver a desired message
· Design layouts and select colors, images, and typefaces to use
· Present design concepts to clients or art directors
· Incorporate changes recommended by clients or art directors into final designs
· Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
